Be Active. Stay Active. The Power of Ice!
Who should use Ice?
Adults and children can minimize injury by using ice after activity or exercise. IceeNow is the perfect solution. According to the CDC, more than 2.6 million children 0-19 years old are treated in the emergency department each year for sports and recreation related injuries. There are important steps that we as parents can take to make our kids safe on the field or court. One of the most important steps to minimizing injury is to use ice post exercise.
What is IceeNow?
IceeNow is a cold elastic bandage that requires no refrigeration. It can be wrapped around the body part to provide immediate relief.
Why IceeNow?
IceeNow has the benefits of ice and compression. The NIH recommends the use of R-I-C-E: Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation to the area of concern whether you have an injury or you are trying to prevent an injury.
When to use?
Applying IceeNow right after exercise will help to prevent or minimize swelling and reduce pain. The treated area will begin to get cold within the first few minutes of use and will continue to remain cold for up to 2 hours.
Where to IceeNow?
IceeNow is portable and can be used on the go. Your body part can be treated with the ice wrap in the gym locker room, on the field sidelines or in the car on your way home from the court.
