A Few Tips on Staying Motivated

This picture is me at the 2018 Boston Marathon finish line two days before the marathon. Little did I know that I would be running my first marathon, the 2019 Boston Marathon just one year later. ❤ Here are a few tips that keep me motivated in my training: Tip 1: Download an app or two like Peloton. Right now the Peloton app is free and have a variety of exciting workouts for running, strength training, walking, yoga, etc. It's a great mix and can spice up a workout. Tip 2: Set mini goals. Maybe it's to run three times a week, or run a mile each day for a month. Tip 3: Join a community such as a Facebook group, group text, running clubs to keep you accountable. Tip 4: It's ok to take a day or two off. Just be sure to get back to it. Tip 5: Remember why you started. The why is just as important as the how. We got this!!!
